The farmer told his sons he was going to visit a relative. He told them there was a treasure lying in the field, you have to go and search for it. Then he said 'bye-bye' and went. Then the sons wanted to find the treasure quickly so they dug the field but they didn't find any treasure. Then they ate lunch. Then they put water everywhere and plants grew. Then the farmer and his wife came back and the children were happy to see their father and mother and they did a big dance. Over.
I took a photo of our dog Jolie.
What I Learned Today: All About Houses
Today we learned about houses. The first bit of the house is the roof. There are many different types of roofs. Some are made of bricks. Some are made of grass. Some are made of wood. The roof shields us from rain and snow and if the sun is too hot you can stay inside.
The second bit of the house is the wall. Some walls are made out of bricks. Some walls are made out of stone. Some walls are made out of wood. If you didn't have a wall the roof might fall on your head and also, if you didn't have a wall you couldn't have doors or windows. No one would be able to come in and you couldn't look out the window.
The windows help you to breathe and see if your friends are playing. If you didn't have a door then no one could come in your house and you couldn't go out. On the door you have to have a hole so you can see. If you are alone and your mummy and daddy are out, if any stranger comes, and you look out the hole, if you don't know them you mustn't open the door. If it's your friend you can open it.
